AIHA’s Fall Conference is the best opportunity of the year for IH and OEHS professionals to network with colleagues in a collaborative, intimate, and engaging environment. AIHA invites you to contribute to the profession by submitting a proposal for a Quick Talk, an innovative program format. Quick Talks will be presented on Monday, October 30 and Tuesday, October 31 at Fall Conference 2017 in Tampa, FL.

    What are Quick Talks?
Quick Talks are concise and efficient 20 minute presentations, by a single speaker, similar to a TED talk (with additional 10 minutes for Q&A) where the goal is to articulate on a topic in a speedy, insightful, and clear manner. These talks are intended to grab the attention of the audience, convey key information, and allow for several presenters to share their focused ideas in a brief period of time.  If selected, your presentation will be paired with a second presentation to form a full 1 hour session.

    Fall Conference Themes

Submit a proposal in your area of expertise that will inspire and invigorate your colleagues with new ideas, practical solutions, and best practices they need to manage the challenges of today and prepare for the issues of tomorrow.  Quick talk proposals may reflect one or more of the following tracks:

    • Enterprise Risk Assessment and Management
    • Emergency Response & Preparedness
    • Management/Leadership
    • Emerging Issues/International

Time is running out to submit your Quick Talk proposal (https://www.aiha.org/events/2017FallConference/Pages/Call-for-Quick-Talks.aspx) for AIHA's Fall Conference on Leadership and Management!

Submissions are due Monday, April 3; don't miss your chance to engage your colleagues with a short 20 minute presentation that will inspire discussion and generate new ideas.

Please let me know, if you have any questions.

    Thanks,
    Thursa
